D-Launcher is a new mobility device that was placed on the Fortnite island at the start of Chapter 3 Season 4. With POIs being consumed by Chrome, these devices allow players to cover long distances without having to step into the silvery-white goo.

D-Launchers aren't found throughout the island. With Chrome limited to grass and desert biomes, these devices are concentrated in those areas. Nevertheless, for players who need to use them in-game, here's where to find them.
Where can players find D-Launchers in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4?
Grass biome

The grass biome is the largest expanse of land on the island. Although it's being consumed by Chrome, there's a lot of greenery left. It'll be a few more weeks before things really turn silvery-white.

With that said, players can find the majority of D-Launchers within the confines of this biome. Here are their locations:
- Two at Sunken Suburbs
- One at Shiny Sound
- Three at Lustrous Lagoon
- Two atop The Flairship at Tilted Towers
- Three at Herald's Sanctum
- Three at Shimmering Shrine
- Four at Fort Jonesy
There's no doubt that all of these D-Launchers are placed in strategic locations. However, those located at Lustrous Lagoon, Herald's Sanctum, and Shimmering Shrine come into use when players want to rotate out of a gunfight.

Those atop The Flairship at Tilted Towers also provide a huge mobility boost when it comes to rotation. Since using the fans and entering a gliding stance israther slow, they provide a great alternative option.
Desert biome
The desert biome is one of the hardest areas to navigate in Chapter 3 Season 4. With vast portions of open ground, cliffs, and impassable terrain, getting pinned down here is a sure way to get eliminated.

Thankfully, there are a few D-Launchers that players can use to rotate rapidly and get to safety. Here are their locations:
- Four at Flutter Barn
- One at Seven Outpost IV
- Nine in and around Cloudy Condos
With Flutter Barn and Cloudy Condos being hot-drop locations in most matches, D-Launchers present at these POIs offer players a quick escape from danger. Rather than running to find cover, they can launch themselves to safety.
How to use D-Launchers in Fortnite - A step-by-step guide
1) Find a D-Launcher on the island

Since D-launchers are limited to desert and grass biomes, players will have to keep an eye out to find them. There are a total of 32 that can be used for quick rotation in-game.

Excluding the alien biome, snow/mountain biomes, and major POIs such as Grim Gables, Chrome Crossroads, Synapse Station, and Chonker's Speedway, they can be found everywhere else. This gives players many options to choose from.
2) Approach the D-Launcher
Once a D-Launcher has been found, players need to analyze the benefits before approaching it. Since the device is omni-directional, players cannot control the angle at which they'll be launched.

Once launched, returning to the D-Launcher will be a daunting task if it's on high ground. If it's pointing in the direction in which players want to be launched, step onto it to activate it.
3) Get "yeeted" and land safely
Once activated, players are launched into the air and travel a fixed distance. Don't worry about sustaining fall damage, as the D-Launcher's effect will cancel it out.
However, if players fall off high ground after landing or before using the device, they become liable to sustain damage. This is important to keep in mind when using D-Launchers that are near cliff edges and high ground, such as The Flairship.
